What to expect

Can you believe it’s already June?! The year is almost halfway gone!

Yikes! The Mayan apocalypse is nearly upon us!

Pshaw! Right! I don’t believe that the world is ending. In fact, I’m planning on it continuing. It will always be changing, for better or worse, but the world will continue, and so will I.

First of all, I’m planning on more Starfire Angels books. Yay! I’m still considering a series title, but the one that’s sticking in my mind right now is Starfire Angels: Earthbound. I can’t promise that will hold, but that should give you a hint of something about it. Once you’ve read Forever Dark, you’ll have a little hint of it. I can say that it won’t be about Raea and Elis. I’m starting over with new characters on this series. I want to explore more of the characters on Earth.

Also, I might do some more novellas about new characters in different time periods. I’ve done so much exploring the history of the Starfire shard that Raea carries, but the potential abounds for so much more. I just have to study up my human history. *gulp* I’m better off making up other worlds.  Nevertheless, I can see endless potential stories in this series and taking it away from the young adult angle at times also, like what I did with When Angels Cry. What would you like to see?

Second of all, I plan to continue the Demon Age novels. I have plans for a story continuing after Tiger Born. I know it will focus on Nadia and explore her training with the Adepts and the Li’Ador, while exploring more about the Adepts seeking to wrest control of Derandria from the demonlords. That’s all I know at this point.

Third, I have other story ideas to start fresh or to revisit. I don’t know what I want to do, but I have ideas. I still have an idea for another YA series, but I don’t know now when that will materialize among all the other ideas that have priority for me.

Now, it’s just a matter of finding time for all the ideas. Summer isn’t good for me with kids at home pestering me and taking my attention from my projects, but once school starts, I plan to be hitting the keyboard with a new ferocity. Both my kids will be in school. I can’t wait!

Now, back to work on WIP 1!

Thank you for reading :)

ps–I do have a special surprise coming up for Christmas. In the meantime, mark your calendars for the official release of Forever Dark on July 1st!
