With artwork I commissioned, I made a banner to promote my books at UtopYAcon (in Nashville, TN on July 6-8, 2012). While the online Staples system was easy to use, it looked like the banners weren’t due to arrive until after my scheduled flight departure to Nashville. Unfortunately, I needed those banners before then so I could ship them to the hotel in advance, so I went into the local staples and ordered two more.
Guess what happened…

Uh, huh. UPS delivered the two banners while I was out ordering two more. *facepalm* Always impatient I am.
Anway, I am planning on giving one of these banners away at UtopYAcon so I don’t have to ship back so much stuff. I may even be able to fit one in my luggage, so that would be better. I’ll take names and draw the winner at the end of UtopYAcon, so you’ll have to be present to win. However, I am giving my fans a chance to own one of the other three.
It’s easy. I’m holding a silent auction from now until 11:59 pm cdst July 9, 2012. Simply email me at melanie_nilles at yahoo dot com with the subject BANNER BID or something to that effect and your bid amount. Of course, the highest bidder will win the banner. (I will accept snail mail checks, but paypal is preferable.) The banner is 4 ft. high x 2.5 ft. wide vinyl, so much more durable than paper.
