Fate is conspiring to turn a liar into me. Beneath the Crashing Waves is having more trouble than a fish on a hook. It seems it’s been distributed everywhere except Apple. *headdesk* I’m ready to pull my hair out. This is why I project a release date so far out–as a cushion against these delays.
In other news, I’m planning on being at Fargo CoreCon from May 3-5, 2013 in Moorehead, MN. The only thing that might keep me away is the flooding in the cities. That area has been hit hard with snowfall this year and is expecting another record year of flooding, and spring hasn’t really hit yet. It can take weeks for the whole thing to settle. If that’s the case, I won’t be crossing the Red River that first weekend of May. Let’s hope the snow melts slowly or at least that the Red carries it away quickly.
Last of all, I’m discovering new secrets in Phantoms. Unlike Soriel with its tight action, Phantoms will be more mystery and romance, at least I think so. I’m only reaching the one-third point of the first draft, so there’s still a lot to go, but I’m pretty sure this one is going to be more intrigue than big action.
