Interview #21 - Laian (CANCELLED)
December 13th, 2007 by MelanieI’m sure you’re wondering what the delay is on this interview. I’m sorry to report that Laian cancelled her interview with us. The official explanation is that something has come up and her duties require her presence in Loringale. She doesn’t know when or IF she can reschedule.
That may be true, but I suspect it has something more to do with the First Race’s attitude towards outsiders. The Ancients were wronged by the Second Race and the magi, who chased them from their homes in a mass exodus to the three islands they have since called home. Although Laian agreed to speak with us, the other two leaders were adamant about no rejecting our requests. I would place fair money on a bet that they had something to do with discouraging Laian, or anyone, from speaking to us “outsiders”.
I am sorry about this. The First Race can be difficult at times, though not all of them are closed-minded (obviously.)
Again, I apologize. I was working to rectify the situation.
In the meantime, I can say that for the upcoming week our guest character will be the second Majera, Tahronen. Thought by some to be a goddess, she is–literally–the mother of the magi in the Legend of the White Dragon series.
