June 17th, 2008 by MelanieIn keeping with a regular update, I’ll fill you in on what’s been going on.
First, Dragon Prophecy should be available now. Like, actually, available available. Go ahead and order!
Second, Dark Angel is no longer contracted. I ended that. You want reasons? Um…like at the first above (two months on pre-order, and five months past due!).
Third, I am still going ahead with the 2nd, 3rd, 4th (final) books of the dragon series with Mundania (unless I’d get a better offer, but Dragon Prophecy would have to really sell). That is, Dragon Legends, Dragon Legacy, and Dragon Child.
Fourth, I’m working on a new story, a sort of near-future, alternative world urban fantasy epic with daemons. Pretty cool. And I made a discovery last night of how the daemons came to exist. Full of awesome! But, you’ll have to wait until I get an agent for that.
Last…just kidding. That’s all the writing news.
In the meantime, I’m having fun with my Beau. Smart horse figures things out too quickly. He’s so much fun that I can’t wait to be riding him. What a character! Ah, but if only you could meet him. Maybe one day I’ll post a journal from him.
