About the author

Born and raised on the plains, Melanie Nilles continues to enjoy the peace of the prairie. Her interest in science fiction and fantasy was planted as a child and, through the years, she fed her imagination with books and movies. Not until college, however, did she start her first novels. Many years later she was offered her first publishing contract. She has been writing and publishing ever since.

Melanie writes under one of two versions of her name. As M.A. Nilles, she writes books meant for adults, while Melanie Nilles is for her young adult/new adult titles.
